According to the Singapore Census of Population 2020, released by the Department of Statistics on 16 June 2021, there has been an increase in Singapore residents without religious affiliation. Those who reportedly have no religious affiliation were more likely to be from the younger age group.

How should the Church respond to this data? Will the Church be relevant to the next generation?

To reflect and gain perspective on the trends in religion and youth, a two-part event was organised to hear the views of academics, community leaders, Church leaders, and youths. This book is a compilation of the sessions at the event for all to read and ponder on the varied perspectives of the speakers on the same issue.
