作者简介：

游斌博士，中央民族大学基督教研究教授、圣经学者，对基督教圣经、教义、礼仪等有精深研究。数十年来致力于基督教与中华文化的对话，致力于建设有中华风格的基督教神学。曾出版10余本研究中华圣经学、基督教历史与神学的著作。他曾是美国富勒神学院客座教授，曾入选哈佛燕京学者、富布赖特学者等。

About the Author:

Dr. YOU Bin is a Professor of Christianity at Minzu University of China, where he directs the Academy of Religions, and leading a research project of Chinese Christian Theology, Liturgy and Biblical Studies. He is active in involving the intercultural dialogues between different Christianity and Chinese cultures. He authored numerous books on Christian theology, the Old Testament, and Chinese Christian Studies etc. He was Harvard - Yenching scholar 2005-2006, Fulbright Scholar at Fuller, 2015-2016, and selected as Young Changjiang Scholar in China.

The Lord’s Prayer: A Chinese Catechism focuses on the widely known and loved Lord’s Prayer as the source of explanation of spiritual formation for the Chinese Christians. This book listed 137 questions and answers to explain the Lord’s Prayer. Chinese spiritual, moral and cultural inspirations are skillfully integrated into the explanations. The author believes that the Lord’s Prayer could not only be the summary of the whole Gospel, as what St. Augustine said, but also a guidance for a systematic spiritual and moral formation. Meditations on Lord’s Prayer would deepen a believer’s spiritual relationship with God, and also point out a path of sanctification for the followers of Christ.
