" We live in a world that is in a hurry, one that is fascinated with speed rather than direction. Modern life is often crowded, distracted, and driven by materialistic and pragmatic pursuits, characterised by instant gratification. In such a dizzying and breathless world, the Bible offers a different way to live, one that is centred on waiting for God. This book looks at some valuable lessons from people who waited for God and discovered His grace, love, and power. Fourteen short chapters help readers to reflect on these truths and apply them for effective and godly living."
